ABOUT ME

Competing on American Ninja Warrior for three seasons honed my adaptability to changing environments, sharpened my agility, speed, flexibility and strength, and solidified my belief in the benefits of calisthenics.

I am known as the "Nature Ninja".

For as long as I can remember I have always loved adventuring outdoors and climbing. The kitchen countertops and tree branches of my youth are now the rock faces up along the mountain cliffs.

This ultimate workout challenges the mind, body and soul and brings it all into one harmonious interaction with both nature and the self, which is what I am most passionate about.

I am a Personal Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) based in Los Angeles, California. I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge, where I also interned at the Brown Center for Adaptive Therapy. In addition to training faculty and students, I had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele ranging from preschoolers developing fundamental motor skills to elderly clients coping with degenerative diseases and disabilities.

I bring mindfulness and intention into my personal work and my work with Clients. I believe that people have the ability to make profound changes in their physical activity that can improve their quality of life. I also believe that this is a choice, we are only as capable as we allow ourselves to be. My goal is to meet people where they are and to utilize all my resources in order to help, heal, and inspire in every way that I can: mind, body and soul.

Through my own personal training as an athlete and overcoming various injuries, I learned that the healing power of massage is an integral element to mind-body wellness and obtained my LMT to incorporate this into my practice and offer it as a service to clients.

In addition to being an athlete, trainer and massage therapist, I am also a Fitness Instructor of Primal Strength. Primal Strength is a class I created that combines calisthenics with primal movements to improve overall health, fitness, and range of motion. I believe that by going back to our fundamental primal movements, we allow our bodies to move fluidly (the bones, joints, soft tissue) and we realign our body mechanics to become stronger, healthier and more functional. Movement is not just a passion of mine, it is a lifestyle.
